October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). DTA is proud to celebrate the invaluable contributions that workers with disabilities bring to our agency! DTA is leading the charge in breaking down barriers and vigorously promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and access for our employees. DTA staff recently created our newest Employee Resource Group dedicated to people with disabilities and their allies. This group has made history as the second ERG in the Commonwealth to champion unity through the unique experience of individuals with disabilities and their allies. This ERG is dedicated to creating an environment that dismantles ableism and integrates principles of universal design and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), recognizing that people with disabilities are essential to DTA’s organizational success. This year's theme for NDEAM is, "Access to Good Jobs for All”. This theme resonates deeply with DTA’s mission to create safe, equitable spaces for all employees and to connect our clients with meaningful employment opportunities. Join us in celebrating NDEAM this month!
