  • Stop Erasing Yourself: How People-Pleasing Is Holding You Back in Love & Life You're constantly saying "yes" when you really want to say "no". It's like you’re bending over backwards to meet everyone else's needs, only to lose yourself in the process? As ADHDers, we’ve been conditioned to believe we’re too much—so we shrink ourselves. We adapt. We people-please. But guess what? That’s not keeping the peace; it’s draining your energy and chipping away at who you really are. 💡 If you've ever looked in the mirror and thought, "Who am I even in this relationship?"—this is for you. People-pleasing might feel like it's protecting you from judgment, but in reality, it's stopping you from creating the success, relationships, and life you deserve. You’re meant for more. You deserve relationships that don’t just accept your full neurospicy self—they CELEBRATE you. 🌶️ ✨ Ready to stop erasing yourself and start owning your power? Let’s build relationships that honor the real you—no more bending, no more self-sacrifice. If you’re ready to start showing up as your full badass self, DM me or drop a comment below. 💥 Let's create the life you deserve, together.

  • When Rejection Sensitivity Affects Relationships: Finding Strength in Self-Awareness 💪💖 If you’re an ambitious woman with ADHD, I’m guessing you know the struggle of constantly balancing what you know with what you feel in relationships. Enter Rejection-Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD)—the voice that makes even the smallest things feel like a rejection and cranks up the need for validation. 🚨💭 You’re not alone here. 99% of adults with ADHD deal with heightened emotional sensitivity. So yeah, even something that’s not really rejection can feel overwhelming. Logically, you know it’s out of proportion, but those emotions? They’re real. 🔥❤️ But here’s where your power comes in: mastering self-awareness and self-soothing. ✨ It’s about learning to honor what you feel without letting it run the show. Balancing Logic and Emotion ⚖️ Even when you know your emotions are on high alert, it doesn’t mean they’re any less valid. The key? Acknowledge those feelings, but don’t let them take over your self-worth. 💡 This is a game-changer, both in personal and professional relationships. Building Emotional Resilience 🛠️ Self-soothing isn’t some magical fix—it’s a skill you can build like any other muscle. 💪 And the more you practice it, the more you remind yourself that you’re in control. Your value isn’t tied to how others see you or whether you get that instant validation. 🌟 You’re already enough. Taking Action 🚀 Feel unseen? Don’t wait for someone else to notice. 👀 It’s time to take the lead and communicate directly. That could mean reaching out to a trusted friend, voicing your needs, or simply being honest with yourself. When you take action, you create the connection you crave without the emotional spiral. 💬❤️ The Path to Stronger Relationships 🤝 You deserve relationships where you’re fully seen and heard, both in your personal life and in your work. By practicing self-awareness and emotional regulation, you’re building something real and lasting. 💫 This journey isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about embracing the process. 🌱 Each time you show up—yes, even on those tough days—you’re building the resilience and emotional strength you need to thrive in every area of your life. 🌻✨

  • ✨ You ever have one of those moments where it just clicks? ✨ I was sitting there, deep in thought (okay, maybe I was also scrolling and daydreaming at the same time—classic ADHD), and it hit me: Consistency doesn’t have to look like what I thought it did. For so long, I’ve been chasing this idea of “getting it right” every single day, trying to keep up with routines like some kind of superhuman robot. And honestly? I was exhausting myself. But here’s what I realized… Consistency isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about finding my own rhythm—one that works with how my brain operates, not against it. Some days, I’m all energy, ideas, and action. Other days? I’m a cozy burrito on the couch (and that’s okay). This is what I now call The Compassionate Hustle: showing up, doing what I can, but with a whole lot of self-love and permission to rest when I need it. 🙌🏽 It’s been a game-changer, and I want to share this with you because I know I’m not the only one out here feeling like they’re either sprinting or stumbling. 💬 How are you learning to work with your brain, not against it? Drop your thoughts, I’m genuinely curious! 🌶️ Neurospicy fam, let’s normalize the beautiful chaos we bring to the table. We’re doing more than enough. 🌶️

  • Neurotypicals, Take Note: Why ADHD Impulsivity Is the Ultimate Power Move 💥 We’ve all heard it before—impulsivity is seen as something to manage or control, especially in professional settings. But what if that mindset is holding us back from using it as a game-changer? Impulsivity isn’t a challenge; it’s an untapped advantage when we consciously choose to wield it. Let’s talk about why it works so well, whether you’re in the workplace, networking, or building your empire. Ultimate Decision Makers 🙌: While others are stuck analyzing every little detail, we’ve already made a move. That ability to act quickly opens doors that might stay closed for those trapped in indecision. The quicker we act, the more opportunities we create. Fearless Creativity 💡: Impulsivity is the spark that ignites bold, innovative ideas. We don’t hold back—we leap into the unknown, and that’s where breakthroughs happen. In business, this fearlessness is where true innovation comes alive. Adaptability on Lock 💪: Plans change? No problem. We’re built to pivot at a moment’s notice. Our flexibility is our edge, whether it’s shifting strategies at work or rolling with unexpected challenges. Being quick to adapt keeps us ahead of the game. Living in the Moment 🧘♀️: Trusting our gut and making decisions in real time creates an energy that’s magnetic. In networking, business, and leadership, that authenticity draws people in. They’re not just engaging with your brand—they’re engaging with you. Turning Impulsivity into Gold 💰: It’s not about reacting to every whim (though, let’s be real, it happens 😂). It’s about channeling that spontaneous energy into the things that truly light us up. When we align impulsivity with intention, we get ahead faster than most can even get started. Here’s a challenge: Instead of resisting your impulses this week, what if you leaned into them? See where your gut takes you. I dare you to act on something you’ve been holding back from, no second-guessing. Let me know what happens when you do!

  • Using shame as a motivator for people with ADHD can be extremely detrimental to our mental health. And it can be so second nature that we don’t realize we are doing it. The worst part is that we think it’s a solid option for motivation because it works…kinda… While it may initially spur immediate action, it ultimately leads to harm in the long run. Constantly fueling + feeling shame can have long-term consequences and significantly chip away at our self-trust. It has a profound impact on our self-esteem, causing insecurity, fear, and self-doubt. Your self-advocacy muscle weakens each time you choose shame as motivation.  The experience of shame can create feelings of embarrassment and humiliation. This is where the thoughts around wishing your brain was normal come into play…where you don’t ask for help or accommodations. You become your own bully and strengthen your neural pathways so that your brain can keep automatically choosing this route. The pervasive nature of shame can lead to a rejection of our own intuition and a lack of self-care. It makes us feel unworthy and undeserving, which can prevent us from prioritizing our well-being. Ultimately, shame is one of the worst jokes we can tell ourselves. It creates a cycle of self-deprecation and diminishes our sense of self-worth. Instead of succumbing to or actively choosing shame, it's crucial to embrace a healthy approach that honors and serves you.  There are better ways to motivate. I’d love for you to experience that kind of life. If this resonates, DM or Comment below “Shame” and I’ll send you my proven strategy for overcoming this harmful cycle.

  • As an ADHD Coach and someone with ADHD, I’ve become intimately aware of the detrimental impact of self-punishment on my mental well-being. The fear of failure often leads to a cycle of negative self-talk and self-destructive behaviors, inhibiting growth and success. Living with ADHD poses unique challenges, and it’s crucial that we show ourselves compassion and understanding. Instead of punishing ourselves for perceived failures, let’s focus on celebrating our victories and learning from our experiences. By breaking free from self-sabotage, we empower ourselves to navigate the ups and downs of life with resilience and grace. Self-Sabotage comes in the form of avoidance, perfectionism, comparison, black & white thinking, catastrophizing, overgeneralization, judgment of your mental and emotional experience... Let’s embrace a culture of self-compassion and support within the ADHD community. By sharing our stories and fostering an environment of understanding, we can empower each other to rise above self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. Join me in championing self-compassion and self-awareness as we navigate the journey with ADHD.  It literally starts with how you treat yourself. It starts with YOU. Let’s remember that we deserve the same gentle kindness we extend others who experience daily struggles. Accept the barrier and remove the limitation.  That’s the way through.  With compassion, momentum builds.

  • I keep hearing this audio and every time I hear it, I think to myself how I wish it were text that I could save and refer back to. So, I made it. Not sure who this quote is from originally but I really appreciate it. Yes, to some it may feel oversimplified. I tend to believe the more complex advice gets, the less relevant it becomes. Anywho, hope this helps! Save this post! DM it to a friend who could use the reminder!
