We were honored to host a roundtable for Senator Patty Murray to discuss the SAFE Act - a bill that would provide protections and resources for people escaping domestic violence. Senator Murray talked with providers, including Mary's Place and domestic violence survivors, about their experiences, needs, and paths forward for best serving survivors. More than 20% of the families who have called the King County Family Intake Line this year are survivors of DV. We're honored to work with Senator Murray and our community partners to identify ways we can partner to support legislation to better serve these families! #SAFEAct

Thank you to volunteers from Reign Robotics FRC 5588, Deloitte, and Alaska Airlines for coming out to our #BacktoSchool party! Our kids loved learning about robotics and were inspired by hanging out with young women in #STEM! They loved doing potato sack races and taking photos in the school bus photo booth!
