This financial news just in! Fitch Ratings has upgraded Maryland Department of Transportation revenue bonds supporting work at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. The bonds are now rated A+, up from A, with a stable outlook. 🛫BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport gets bond rating upgrade 🛫 Fitch Ratings has upgraded the airport’s revenue bonds in advance of an upcoming sale. The department is expected to sell about $230 million in bonds this month and will support the largest project in the airport’s history! The work includes a direct connection between Concourse A and B and a sophisticated new baggage handling system.
