ICYMI Thanks to the amazing staff at DGS for going above and beyond in preparing the State Capitol grounds and reception room for the historic event with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and Governor Moore. This includes the coordination Maryland Capitol Police had with other federal, state, and local agencies, as well as setting up temporary railings, power washing the Capitol steps, blowing of leaves, removing scaffolding, working with vendors to set up A/V equipment, decorating the area with plants, and flowers, and tablecloths. Doing Great Work at DGS!

This week is National Security Officer Appreciation Week! DGS would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation for the 85 Maryland Capitol Police Security Officers. Our security officers are on the front lines and often the first employees people meet when entering DGS facilities. We thank them for the hard work, dedication, and professionalism they display while protecting and serving the visitors and citizens of Maryland.
