Our Mission The mission of Maternity Care Coalition is to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women and parenting families, and enhance school readiness for children 0-3. Our Vision MCC envisions an equitable future where all families are healthy and connected, with all children thriving and ready to learn. - Each child is welcomed - Each person is nurtured and achieves their full potential - Parents and guardians are empowered to care for themselves and their children - Communities understand and act upon the imperative to provide systematic support - As a result, all families and individuals are healthy, connected and economically self-sufficient and all children thrive and are ready to learn.

  • This is how excited we get every time someone donates to MCC! Your donations fill us with joy AND they make a difference for the families we serve. We are thankful for the generosity of our donors every day, but today, we are shouting our gratitude from the rooftops. Last year, MCC donors partnered with us as we expanded our services to include a community reproductive health program, launched our work in two new counties: Berks and Chester, and opened a new brick-and-mortar site in Bucks County. We also continued to advocate for statewide paid leave in Pennsylvania, hosted 260 outreach events, and served over 4,200 families. THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this impact possible! • Today is Maternal Health Awareness Day, a day to uplift, educate, and raise awareness of the importance of maternal health. We use this day to highlight the urgency of the maternal morbidity crisis and urge changemakers and champions to keep fighting for better maternal health outcomes. This #MaternalHealthAwarenessDay, we uplift Rachael, Chad, and Jasmine’s #PaidLeave stories and perspectives. Paid Leave promotes postpartum care, economic security, family bonding, health equity, and so on. We uplift our partners and maternal health champions for supporting better maternal health policies and ensuring that every pregnant and birthing person has the right to have quality reproductive healthcare and prenatal and newborn care. We continue to work to improve the health of all parents, parenting families, pregnant people, birthing people, and babies. Read more about the importance of Paid Leave here: https://loom.ly/IUVtP_I

  • Doaa knows that making time to take care of herself ensures her children are growing and thriving. Like flowers, she aims to provide the sun and water to “help them not just grow, but bloom.” In Maternity Care Coalition’s (MCC) parenting education group, Doaa is able to talk, listen, learn about the session topic, and connect with other parents. “It’s one hour of the day where I can talk with others about parenting, and we can motivate each other.” Your donation helps MCC provide parents with these crucial spaces for support, connection, and learning.
