Milender White recently hosted a two-day Project Leadership Seminar focused on collaboration, field execution, and the power of building builders. We welcomed several of our key trade partners (Bcc Painting, CHS Plumbing, E&K Companies, Inc. and Exceed Electrical Contracting), who joined us for an insightful panel discussion. Their expertise and candid input highlighted some of the common hurdles we all face in the field, and together, we explored strategies for overcoming these challenges. We’re excited to break ground on Ardent on Van Nuys, a transformative transit-oriented development in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. This 332-unit project will bring a diverse range of housing options to the Los Angeles area, including workforce, affordable, and market-rate units, further strengthening the community’s fabric. Project leaders from Milender White, Alliant Strategic and AC Martin recently gathered at a celebration for this 332-unit project, which will offer affordable workforce housing. Los Angeles City Councilmember Imelda Padilla (District 6) attended the event and praised the development. Milender White is proud to be the General Contractor for this project, which features six stories of mixed-use residential and retail space, complete with a dog run, courtyards, rooftop decks, and more. The project also includes 37 affordable units and over 4,100 sq. ft. of retail space, reflecting our commitment to building spaces that serve and enrich communities. On Monday, members of our team toured P3•EDU attendees through the re-imagined Villages at Mines Park at Colorado School of Mines. Tour participants saw the installed CLT panels, heard from project team members, and walked through the spaces under construction where student residents will soon be able to study and relax.
