We are excited to share that TechnoServe's CEO and President, William Warshauer, recently visited West African Soy Industries Limited (WASIL Oil Mill) alongside our Millers for Nutrition team. WASIL, a prominent edible oil producer, is an active participant in the Millers for Nutrition platform. Factory General Manager Krishna Venkata warmly received our delegation and showcased WASIL's impressive achievements. Notably, WASIL is fully compliant with fortification requirements and standards, demonstrating their dedication to producing high-quality, edible oil. During the visit, Will had the opportunity to share TechnoServe's journey and vision, emphasizing our long standing relationship with WASIL. We are proud of the progress made and look forward to working with more millers to produce adequately fortified staple foods in Nigeria. If I could do it all over again, I would do it all over again. Today in Ethiopia I got to install and test Sanku's newest Dosifier machine, and trained millers on how to use it, with our partner TechnoServe Millers for Nutrition. It took me back 10 years ago, to the early Sanku days, where I spent every day in an East African mill, and zero days in an office. We have come a long way since then, and now have the opportunity to launch a new country, to be part of supporting 400 millers in Ethiopia to fortify, and who feed 50 million people. I’m so grateful to do it all over again.
