MiOra engineering interns, Aydin Ulubay, Keyshon Howard, and Maya Gonzales are working on a medical device aimed at addressing the opioid overdose crisis. Throughout the process, they have been immersed in different stages of medical device development and had the privilege of learning from esteemed experts in the field Conor Evans, Ulkuhan Guler, Robert Watson, MD, Andrew Young, Esq. CPVA, and Mitchell McGee. They have been exploring the intersection of biosensors, wearables, medical device development, intellectual property, regulations and the opioid crisis.
