🌍 Celebrating Ukraine's 33rd Independence Day 🎉  This year marks 33 years of Ukraine's independence and 35 years of Miratech. These milestones naturally align because true business success can only flourish in a country where freedom is recognized and cherished. Ukraine’s journey towards democracy and freedom is a testament to its resilience—a journey that continues to this day. Did you know that Kyiv was Europe's largest city in the 11th century, surpassing London and Paris? Or that Ukraine’s Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk, adopted in 1710, introduced the separation of powers long before Montesquieu's famous "Spirit of the Laws"? When you hear the enchanting melody of "Carol of the Bells," you might not realize it was composed by the Ukrainian musician Mykola Leontovych. Ukraine is also the birthplace of the beautifully decorated Easter eggs, where the tradition of using wax and dye to create intricate designs first began. This cherished art form, known as "pysanka," is yet another reflection of Ukraine's rich cultural heritage.  Yet, Ukraine’s story is not without its dark chapters, the "Executed Renaissance" being one of them, where nearly 30,000 Ukrainian intellectuals, including Leontovych, were tragically killed by the Soviet regime. The price of independence is unbelievably high, and Ukraine continues to pay it now, bravely standing up to a much larger enemy and shaping history before our eyes. Despite all these challenges, Ukraine's spirit remains unbroken. From winning an Oscar for the first time in 2024 to becoming a world leader in e-government innovation with Diia platform, Ukraine continues to amaze the world with its resilience and excellence. 💙 We extend our deepest gratitude to our Ukraine team, especially those colleagues currently serving in the Ukrainian army—your courage inspires us all. Let me take you on a journey with Nataliia Bortovska, our Junior Program Manager at Miratech. Her story is one of incredible growth, determination, and dedication, illustrating the vibrant career path and supportive environment that define Miratech. It all began when Nataliia, a university student unsure of her career path, decided to apply for an internship at Miratech. She was drawn to the marketing department, intrigued by the blend of creativity and analytical thinking it required. "I was looking for opportunities to test my skills and understand what I am good at and what skills I need to obtain and improve," Nataliia recalls. Her initial impressions of Miratech were overwhelmingly positive. She appreciated the flexible working hours and the supportive nature of her colleagues, who were always willing to share their expertise. This welcoming environment was crucial as she navigated the challenges of balancing her studies with her new role. After excelling as a marketing intern, she was offered a full-time position as a marketing specialist. Over the next few years, she transitioned through various roles, each one adding a new layer of skills and experiences. From the organizational development department as a Project Coordinator to the Project Management Office as the Assistant to the Program Manager, and eventually to Junior Program Manager, Nataliia’s growth continues.  "I have learned how to establish and refine processes, plan projects, manage budgets, and lead teams," she shares. Her role evolved significantly, moving from marketing tasks to project management responsibilities, reflecting her continuous development and adaptability. Miratech played a crucial role in supporting Nataliia’s professional growth. The company’s diverse opportunities allowed her to explore different departments and find her true calling. Internal courses, training programs, and sponsorship for external learning further fueled her development. "From the start of my journey, I have appreciated the flexibility the company offers in terms of working hours, remote forever approach, and the methods used to complete tasks, as the focus is more on outcomes and quality," Nataliia says. She also values the respectful and professional demeanor of her colleagues, who have never shown hostility or unfairness and are always ready to share their knowledge. Her advice to newcomers?
