This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're highlighting the crucial role of early detection and the impact of advanced primary care. Ryan Rupp from Vera Whole Health (now part of apree health) shares insights on how comprehensive care teams and strategic partnerships are making a difference. For example, initiatives like on-site mobile mammography with The Ohio State University are increasing accessibility and awareness. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth
When it comes to primary care, our goal is to maximize the provider-patient relationship, to ensure people are getting the right care at the right time at a cost they can afford. In this episode of Tradeoffs, Alexandra Olgin speaks with Dan Mendelson about our approach to primary care, and the on-site and near-site care centers that serve JPMorganChase employees in Ohio. http://spr.ly/6045UA1H5

Our latest issue brief highlights the variation in pediatric care quality across the country. These differences can lead to unnecessary treatments, higher costs, and more time off for families. At Embold Health, we’re addressing this by guiding families to high-quality pediatricians using rigorous data. Better care for kids means better outcomes and peace of mind for parents. Catch up on the full brief here: https://hubs.li/Q02Tt6Xw0 #EmboldHealth #HealthcareQuality #PediatricCare #EmployeeWellbeing #Variation #Family

Our CEO, Ashok Subramanian, was recently interviewed by Wisconsin Health News to discuss healthcare affordability (or rather the lack thereof), the strides being made in primary care and data-driven healthcare solutions and Centivo's and BHCG's successful expansion in the WI market. Read the full interview (https://hubs.li/Q02TgYQj0) and see how Wisconsin is leading the charge, setting an example that could become a national model for positive change in transforming healthcare. #healthcareinnovation #primarycare #datadriven #wisconsin #nationalhealthcare #Centivo
We need new solutions to stem the continuing rise of health care costs and create efficiencies across the system, writes Dan Mendelson and Virgílio (“V”) Bento. #AI, they say, can be employed to remove barriers to access, drive costs down system-wide and elevate the role of the human clinician, so they can focus on people, not paperwork. https://lnkd.in/ggSj7xnH
We’re working to make primary care more accessible where and when employees need it. It’s reassuring to know that we’re not alone. Tradeoffs highlights how employers are seeking to extend touchpoints to primary care. It's also why we invested in apree health, and their ability to scale and customize to an employer’s needs: http://spr.ly/6045UfFqv

Looking forward to seeing many of you at this year’s HLTH USA conference in Las Vegas. I’m joining a panel discussion moderated by Anna Mathews of The Wall Street Journal exploring the relationship between health plans and employers. As the title – “Employer’s Frenemies” – suggests, there remain many opportunities to enhance this relationship, particularly when it comes to optimizing outcomes and controlling costs. Ashok Subramanian of Centivo and Ellen Kelsay of Business Group on Health are the ideal co-panelists and have been at the center of this debate, as employers increasingly seek to improve ROI on their health care spend in today’s macroeconomic environment marked by rising inflation and wage growth. A strong carrier-employer relationship remains foundational to our work at Morgan Health. Ensuring that these relationships are based on clearly defined metrics and prioritize better outcomes is what we’re aiming to drive across the system. We’ll share news on this front at the conference -- with insights on how employers can standardize quality measures in the contracting process and extend employee access to affordable health plan options. Led by Jody Tropeano and her team, HLTH is always one of my favorite events of the year. The “Employer’s Frenemies” panel will take place on the Disco Stage at 1:30pm on Monday, PT. Drop any questions you have for the panel below! https://lnkd.in/g25S2_Gw
Collectively, U.S companies spend over $1 trillion each year on health care for their employees and families. But is this massive expense truly benefiting the workforce? In the latest episode of Tradeoffs podcast, they showcase how JPMorganChase is taking control of these costs by investing in our Vera Whole Health primary care centers. Not only providing their employees with more affordable health care, but a better experience. 🌸 People of color have long faced disparities in breast cancer screening, care, treatment, and outcomes. We need to cultivate a deeper understanding of the clinical and social factors that influence a person’s health, so that everyone has the opportunity to get the care they need when they need it. #BreastCancer #BreastCancerAwareness #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #NationalBreastCancerAwarenessMonth
