Mount Nittany Health Toftrees, opening in September, is a 126,000-square-foot outpatient center that will elevate our ability to deliver a wide range of medical services in a modern, accessible environment. Situated on a 20-acre property, it offers a spacious and tranquil setting, equivalent in size to about 15 football fields. 🏈 This expansive site not only allows for the integration of multiple medical services, but also provides room for future growth as our community needs evolve. As we approach the grand opening of our new facility, we are excited to see how it will enhance the delivery of care in our region! For more info, visit: https://lnkd.in/egNiDGkU

There is an undeniable pull to be in the water during the warm summer months, but enjoying the water comes with risks and added responsibilities that need to be taken seriously. The unfortunate truth is that drowning is the number one cause of death for children ages one to four and remains the third leading cause of death from unintentional injury worldwide. Mount Nittany Health’s Trauma Program reminds you to take swimming and water safety seriously this summer – and all year long! 🌊☀️ Check out these safety guidelines: https://ow.ly/ZiRW50ST2gL

This past June, Mount Nittany Health Athletic Trainers Ashley Struble and Scott Devore spoke at the annual Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society (PATS) Conference. Struble and Devore delivered the 2024 Moyer Lecture: “Bridging the Generational Gap: How Inter-Professional Collaboration Can Combat Discord and Encourage Teamwork Between Veteran and New Grad Athletic Trainers”. “Our lecture stressed the importance of collaboration, teamwork, sharing ideas and responsibilities, and developing a plan together for a better workplace environment, regardless of an age gap” said Scott. Both Ashley and Scott are strong advocates for the profession of Athletic Training and were proud to represent Mount Nittany Health at this year’s PATS Conference!
