“As of October 2024, almost all available CHWs are using the CHT at a rate of 78%.” That incredible feedback came from Muso’s Aïssata Maïga, during last week’s collaborative workshop with the Malian Ministry of Health and other DISC-Mali partners in Dakar. Over the course of the week, we conducted live demonstrations and real-life scenario-based testing to evaluate workflows and enhancements in DISC-Mali, the national digital health system launch in 2023. Together, we’re going further. We’ve updated our roadmap to continue national scale-up, and have been approved to deploy community-based epidemiological surveillance and dedicated supervision - set for early 2025! Muso at UNGA During the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, our CEO, Dr. Ari Johnson, met with Colonel Assa Badiallo Touré, Mali’s Minister of Health and Social Development. This bilateral meeting served as an important opportunity to discuss ways to enhance collaboration between Muso and the Ministry, particularly regarding initiatives designed to improve access to primary health services in underserved areas.
