Collaboration in Action! Yesterday, 21 local water provider staff participated in the first Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) workgroup. This workgroup was the first of six MWDOC will host to foster learning and information sharing around AMI within the Orange County water community. Established in 1951, MWDOC now serves nearly 3.2 million Orange County residents through 28 retail water agencies. MWDOC’s service area covers all of Orange County with the exception of the cities of Anaheim, Fullerton and Santa Ana.
