Today, July 25th, Nauticus is celebrating our Summer Interns on #NationalInternDay! This summer, we have the privilege of hosting 15 interns from three local partnering organizations: City of Norfolk Emerging Leaders (NELs), Didlake, inc., and Old Dominion University MonarchTeach. Our wonderful interns, ranging from high school to college students, are serving throughout our whole campus with our Education, Sail Nauticus, Admissions, Gift Shop, Exhibits, and Battleship Operations Departments. They are also gaining valuable first-time workforce skills such as public speaking, time management, program development, and leadership. This year, Nauticus is recognized as a 2024 V-TOP (Virginia Talent Opportunity and Partnerships) Employer for Interns. Thank you to our interns, partners, and department leaders for an amazing summer! Are you interested in volunteering with us? Please visit https://lnkd.in/e9amWg_a
