#Projecthighlight MSP Airport – Terminal 2 Gate Expansion The 45,000-square-foot addition includes new restrooms and other passenger amenities. In addition to enabling smaller airlines to add more flights, the expansion supports the Metropolitan Airport Commission’s sustainability initiatives. Project Spotlight: Alberson Hall, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The new Albertson Hall project replaces an aging facility with a new, modern, and safe facility. NBK provided the building’s terracotta facade, using a combination of finishes on a natural beige-tone tile. The mix includes natural, five-combed, medium-combed, and a custom grooved texture finishes. The result will be vibrant and eye-catching as each finish captures and reflects the light differently. This is another example of how terracotta is used to create some of the most innovative and striking building designs.

We are excited that materials have shipped for the facade of the William E. Carter School Redevelopment project in Boston. In a few weeks, installation of the NBK Terracotta tiles and baguettes will begin. The Design team of Perkins&Will used a vibrant mix of glazed and natural terracotta for a stunning but calming effect. #projecthighlight UCPA Sport Station Grand Reims In addition to swimming pools, the UCPA Sport Station Grand Reims also offers an ice rink, a fitness area, wellness centers, and outdoor courts for squash and tennis, making it an attraction that draws many visitors. The most striking design feature is the large pleated roof – it forms the signature of the décor and refers to the identity of the building. The stunning design of the Boston Medical Center uses NBK’s TERRART-Large architectural terracotta. Terracotta facade panels are made from 100% raw materials yet are extremely durable, making them suitable for sustainable design. Furthermore, TERRART panels are customizable and come in a variety of colors, textures, and glazes. NBK created 62,000 square feet of custom color red with black iron spot panels and baguettes with a wire struck texture for the Shapiro Ambulatory Care Center.
