NCCS believes that policy change is essential to ensuring cancer survivors have access to quality cancer care. We represent the perspective of cancer survivors in public policy discussions, and we encourage and empower survivors to share their stories with policymakers.

About us
Founded by and for cancer survivors, the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship is a patient-centered organization that advocates for quality cancer care for all people touched by cancer. We drive patient-centered public policies to make cancer care the best possible for survivors—from the time of their diagnosis onward—and their loved ones. We represent the interests of cancer survivors to Congress, the federal government, policymakers, payers, providers, and others whose work affects people with cancer. We promote cancer care planning, at diagnosis and at key transition points during treatment and survivorship. We advocate for policies that improve the way our country delivers, regulates, and finances cancer care. We provide tools and information to help survivors be fully engaged in their care. More information is available at www.canceradvocacy.org or 1-888-650-9127.

Are you living with advanced or metastatic cancer? The NCCS Metastatic Checklist is an excellent guide for information critical to your care. Don't take our word for it; One survivor just shared that this is "the best cancer care resource for patients I have encountered. Doesn’t flinch at the hard parts—as a survivor, I don’t find flinching helpful. I prefer straight talk delivered with respect for me." You can access the metastatic checklist here: https://lnkd.in/e8s6VNqK #CancerSurvivorship #CancerAdvocacy #MetastaticCancer
