Last Friday, we proudly unveiled our new State-of-the-Art Radiographic and Mammography Suite in the South End with a ribbon-cutting event that brought together community leaders, patients, and our dedicated staff. Yesterday, in honor of #MammogramDay, our Radiology team hosted a #BreastCancerAwareness event in the lobby of 10 Gove Street. They shared important information about early detection and helped women schedule their mammograms. Our leadership team and board members also joined us, showing strong support for this vital cause. There is nothing like starting off 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 with Alberto Vasallo III and a room full of amazing Hispanic leaders and changemakers. This morning's El Mundo Boston breakfast was a testament to the wide-ranging contributions Latinos have made across our city and state, and the organizations and allies that supported them along the way.    Thank you to all the head table speakers for making us laugh, cry and be proud of our region's Hispanic community including Maura Healey, Michelle Wu, Ayanna Pressley, Liseth Velez, Michael A. Cox, Jon Santiago, David Morales, David Hernandez, and Ryan Bailey.   Special congratulations to Antonio "Tony" Molina, a Purple Heart recipient and former Marine who served in Vietnam, on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. Tony’s dedication to our South End community is unmatched — from helping build, along with other community advocates, the South End Community Health Center, now NeighborHealth, in the 1960s, to his leadership in the Veterans Association of Massachusetts and founding the first memorial to Puerto Rican veterans in the U.S. right here in our South End.
