  • We would like to introduce you to our 2025 Northern Nevada OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade Float floragraph honoree. Meet Kaylinn. Her family shared that Kaylinn was a ray of sunshine, with a genuine smile, bright blue eyes, a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. She was always a free spirit, loved life and was willing to share joy with anyone whose life she touched. Kaylinn's family was everything, but her son was her greatest joy and life's greatest accomplishment. At just 23, she always wore her heart on her sleeve and loved helping others. As early as ten years of age, Kaylinn would rush to get ready for school so she could meet and assist a disabled child to the school bus stop. This passion, which included being a caretaker for the elderly, continued throughout her life. As a caretaker, Kaylinn made it her mission to befriend those who had no family and would become their family, often visiting them during her free time. She loved the natural beauty of the world leading her to her favorite hobby, photography. With a camera in hand, Kaylinn would often slip out to capture the beauty of a sunrise or sunset. Her kindness and love for helping others led to her final selfless act, by making her wishes known that she was a registered organ, eye and tissue donor. Kaylinn will always be missed, but will forever be a hero to all who loved her. . . . . #DonateLife #RoseParade #DonateLifeFloat #BeAHeroLikeKaylinn

  • Our team spent a few days celebrating Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in northern and southern Nevada. It started with the ‘Day of the Child’ and ended with ‘All Souls Day.’ The holiday originated in Mexico and is observed by many. Individuals come together to pay respect to loved ones who have passed away. They create Ofrendas, which are small altars to honor their heroes. We shared this opportunity with several courageous donor families. We covered our Ofrendas with candles, marigolds, offerings and photos. . . #DonateLife #DiaDeLosMuertos #BeAHero #LaterPost . . . . #DoneVida #DiaDeLosMuertos

  • We would like to introduce you to our 2025 Southern Nevada OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade Float floragraph honoree in partnership with Palm Mortuaries and Cemeteries. Meet Thai. He was born in Bae Lieu, Vietnam in 1973 and dreamed of being a police officer since he was a child. Thai was able to achieve this goal in 1999 with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). During his decorated 23-year career, he was a mentor and training officer to many. Thai not only policed with passion, empathy, courage and integrity; he embodied it. As you can imagine, he worked in just about every area command around Las Vegas in his 23 years in the department and accumulated so many life-long friends along the way. Until Thai was tragically taken from us on 10/13/2022, we were unaware of just how much of an impact he had not only on the department, but on the whole city as well. He was always a role model to his nieces and nephews, then to his own daughter in 2003. Even when not on duty, Thai was still a mentor to many as a girls’ volleyball coach which was another passion of his. He also loved the water and was truly at peace when he was on his sailboat. Whether Thai was fishing or just maintaining it, that's where he loved to be. He so enjoyed taking his daughter and father out on the ocean to spend time with them. We donated because Thai was always eager to help others in life, and we believe he would've wanted to help as many others as he could one last time. He was already a hero to his family and community and will now be remembered as a hero to these recipients as well. Stay tuned to meet our Northern Nevada Honoree. . . . . #DonateLife #RoseParade #DonateLifeFloat #BeAHeroLikeThai
