For #NationalInternDay, we're excited to introduce Tariah Pitts, a proud public charter school alum and the newest intern at NJPCSA! Tariah graduated from KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy (KIPP New Jersey) and is now attending The College of New Jersey. She serves as a Student Government Senator and works with the Educational Opportunity Fund helping TCNJ students. Additionally, Tariah is a youth leader with the Cooperman College Scholars program, helping and empowering fellow Essex County scholars.

New Jersey is home to 87 charter schools, serving 60,000 children. NJPCSA was formed in 1999 and today is charged with advancing a quality public education for New Jersey’s children through quality public charter schools. Our vision is that every child in the State of New Jersey has the opportunity to attend a high quality public school that best meets his or her needs.
