The Grand at Aliana continues to grow!   With six signed leases in hand, NewQuest is ready to break ground on a 19,000-sf multi-tenant retail building in the Grand at Aliana Phase III in Fort Bend County. Snapping up space in the new building are Milano Nails, America’s Best, Five Guys, Dunkin Donuts, Firehouse Subs and Buffalo Wild Wings Go.   “It’s been extremely busy since Costco opened. Phase III is attracting a lot of quality national brand operators,” says Josh Friedlander, Director of Leasing and development partner of NewQuest. He partners with colleague David Meyers to lease the Grand at Aliana.   The Grand at Aliana, totaling 65 acres, fronts the Grand Parkway/TX 99 in Richmond, home to one of the largest and fastest-growing retail corridors in Texas. The project’s three phases have a build-out capacity of 665,000 sf of mixed-use space and 350 apartments.   Congratulations to Josh Friedlander and David Meyers, along with tenant representatives Brett Strake, Rebecca Le, Shireen Owlia, and Diandra Breen. To read more visit: https://bit.ly/3XlVMW9

NewQuest has gained another national brand, Harbor Freight Tools, for the line-up at Pasadena Town Center, filling the only retail vacancy, totaling 20,810 sf, and injecting new energy into the southeast Houston project. Harbor Freight has leased the former Goodwill store, which closed in 2023 and abuts the development’s longtime anchor, Ross Dress for Less. Construction on the second-generation space began within days of the lease signing. “Pasadena Town Center has an extremely loyal customer base,” says Bob Conwell, senior vice president of Houston-based NewQuest and the project’s leasing agent. “It will be a good store for Harbor Freight.” To read more about the new Harbor Freight location as well as the rest of this week's press releases, visit https://lnkd.in/grNqp9ZQ.

I'm excited to finally share the project that Taggart Atwood and I dedicated our summer to as interns at NewQuest. Combining Taggart's marketing expertise and my graphic design skills, we revitalized one of NewQuest's oldest assets, Spring Town Center.   We teamed up with the property broker, Lara Lee LaMendola to successfully rebrand this major town center. Our efforts included creating detailed property personas, developing a cohesive brand guide, crafting a custom property brochure, designing an e-blast, launching a new website (springtowncenter.com), creating social media concepts, and curating a property video.   A special thanks to Caitlin Jones Krystina Traylor Erica O'Brien and Elizabeth Yawn for their guidance and support throughout this project!

Summer Intern Spotlight! This year we tasked our Marketing interns, Taggart Atwood and Caroline Greebon, with breathing fresh life into the branding strategy for one of our shopping centers. Suffice to say, they wowed us all - so much so that we've adopted their branding and personality for Spring Town Center moving forward. Congratulations!

As I wrap up my summer internship, I want to reflect on one of the major projects during my time at NewQuest, where I worked diligently with Caroline Greebon to create and implement a full marketing campaign for one of NewQuest’s assets. Together, we collaborated with the broker of the property, Lara Lee LaMendola, to successfully rebrand one of NewQuest’s major town centers. Our efforts included creating detailed property personas, developing a cohesive brand guide and a custom property brochure, designing an e-blast, launching a new website (springtowncenter.com), creating social media concepts, and curating a property video. A special thanks to Caitlin Jones, Krystina Traylor, Erica O'Brien, and Elizabeth Yawn for their guidance and support throughout this project!
