📣 Attention Vehicle Title Clerks processing Georgia Title and Registrations: NIVTA has initiated discussions with Georgia DOR regarding their insurance "status lookup" tool updated in Georgia Drives e-services: https://lnkd.in/erSaW9WF. This tool enables title clerks to verify a customer's active insurance AFTER title work is completed in the DMV system, but reports from title clerks nationwide suggest the need for expansion to include the BEFORE processing steps. 💡 Issues have been highlighted, emphasizing the necessity for proof of valid insurance before title work reaches a County office and faces rejection. Your input is crucial! Participate in our poll to strengthen the request for change in collaboration with Vehicle Title Clerks.
