Fair compensation for nonprofit employees is not a luxury; it’s a necessity that strengthens nonprofits’ capacity to serve. To help communities rebuild from fires, recover from hurricanes, support youth in need, and so much more. A recent Independent Sector study revealed that more than 1 in 5 nonprofit workers (22%) do not earn enough to live and afford basic necessities.
