Yesterday was the 25th Anniversary of the Chandra X-Ray Observatory. https://lnkd.in/gVkCGgq5 I am amazed at the magnificent images and other data that are produced by Chandra's X-ray data combined with data from other telescopes. Who knew such discoveries were possible? #NASASTEM

NASA: It’s almost time for NASA’s supersonic X-59 airplane to make its red, white, and blue public debut, and you’re invited to join friends and family in taking a front-row, virtual VIP seat to the rollout ceremony in the California high desert! Join NASA Aeronautics and Lockheed Martin Skunk Works in a live stream of the X-59 aircraft rollout. Join us in celebrating, and even organize your own watch party! The X-59’s rollout ceremony will be broadcast live on the NASA+ streaming service beginning at 4 p.m. EST this Friday, Jan. 12, 2024. Engaging the entire STEM Ecosystem, 350+ K-12 students, caregivers, staffers, interns and professional volunteers participated in STEM NOLA's STEM Saturday: The Power of Chemistry, powered by Chevron on Saturday, November 11th. TrainingGrounds Inc. provided a "We Play" toddlers corner, thus creating a cradle to professional event, engaging all possible stakeholders! Hosted at Gernon Brown Recreation Center in New Orleans, K-12 students participated in activities to learn about endothermic and exothermic reactions, as well as understand how the use of molecules and compounds cause different reactions. Students made strands of nylon, stretching them over 6' long! Lastly, participants were able to build their own electro-chemical battery clock!! ⏰ Thank you to the nearly 70 college and professional volunteers for your commitment to supporting STEM education for our children and community!
