El jueves pasado se llevó a cabo la segunda edición de la Conferencia ClimaTech en Buenos Aires, que busca potenciar el ecosistema de tecnología climática en Argentina y que desde ARCAP co-organizamos junto a Antom.la y ClimaTech Argentina.  Más de 250 personas asistieron a este evento cargado de buen contenido. El programa de charlas arrancó con una presentación sobre la crisis climática a cargo de Pablo González y Manuel Garrido, co-fundadores de El Gato y La Caja Luego llegó el primer panel: “Los riesgos de jugar a ser dios. Biotecnología para modificar seres vivos por el impacto ambiental”, en el que participaron Francisco Buchara, inversor en el fondo SF500, María Martha Martorell, co-founder de Nunatak Biotech, y el licenciado en ciencias biológicas Fabricio Ballarini Durante el espacio de German Accelerator se presentaron dos startups que han formado parte de dicho programa: AIRMO y Terranigma solutions. Luego, el doctor en Agronomía, co-founder de Eiru y asesor científico de Antom.la, Lucas Alejandro Garibaldi, habló sobre “Soluciones que funcionan en Food Systems (y cuáles no)”. Después se abrió el debate nuevamente con el panel “Mercados de carbono: financiamiento regenerativo  o greenwashing?”, en el que participaron Alexis Caporale (World Fund) y Diego Saenz Gil (Pachama), con la moderación de la licenciada en ciencias ambientales y Magíster en Políticas Públicas Elizabeth Möle. Para el cierre de la conferencia, se plantearon dos actividades lúdicas. Primero, se generó una situación de pitch ficticio con la actriz María Thompson como expositora y los inversores Ruben Altman (Antom.la), Suarez Lorena Andrea (ALAYA CAPITAL) y Juan Cabrera (Xperiment Startup Studio & VC) para explorar la consigna “¿Cómo pitchear en Climatech?”. Finalmente, el psicólogo, rapero y speaker César Silveyra realizó uno de sus “rapsúmenes” del evento. La conferencia contó con el patrocinio de Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, CATAL15T, BBVA Spark, German Accelerator y Start2 Group. Y contó con el apoyo de las startups Kilimo, Nativas y Dendro.
