Codesmith has teamed up with Oddball, an agency that transforms government digital services, to provide five full scholarships to Codesmith’s top-rated full-time or part-time Software Engineering Immersive programs. With this new scholarship opportunity powered by Oddball, our goal is to empower and support more veterans to break into tech and build successful careers in software engineering.

Oddball co-founders Travis Sorensen (CEO) and Rob Wilkinson (CTO) initially met through Codesmith in 2015 when Travis was a resident and Rob was the lead instructor. As business partners, they built Oddball from the ground-up, eventually moving into the government space, working on citizen-centric projects including VA.gov and a mobile app for families utilizing military childhood development centers. As a veteran himself, Travis is a passionate advocate for the veteran community.
