You would be trusted to hands-on lead the design and creative direction for Ondo’s brand assets, whilst leading the development of our brand architecture and design systems. I’m delighted to welcome Mark Janoff to Ondo Finance as our General Counsel! The GC role is one of the most strategic and critical ones at Ondo. One of our core competencies is our experience structuring innovative products at the intersection of traditional and onchain finance. Doing this well requires a delicate balancing of diverse legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations in multiple global jurisdictions, and coordinating a small army of legal specialists. Mark is exceptionally detail-oriented and technical both in his knowledge of the law and of crypto as a technology stack. Having worked with countless lawyers over my last 6 years in the tokenization space at Goldman and Ondo, I can confidently say that Mark is the best person for the job. Additionally, Mark has already been running Ondo’s legal efforts for the past three years in his time at Orrick, with this move in-house representing a natural continuation of those efforts. With the help of many specialists across other firms, Mark led the legal design behind OUSG, which kicked off the tokenized treasuries rush, USDY, the first openly accessible yieldcoin, and Flux Finance, the first onchain protocol uniquely blending permissioned and permissionless assets. Plus, we have been working closely with Mark on major new initiatives including Ondo Global Markets, our expansion into public equities and bonds.
