Many Americans struggle with mental health and substance use issues, and quality treatment can often be expensive and difficult to find. The Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) aims to address this by bringing a medical team together to focus on a person's whole health. About us
One Medical challenges the notion that delivering high-quality, accessible health care is unachievable and prohibitively expensive. In fact, we’re working to prove that just the opposite is possible — a system where quality care is affordable and available to everyone. To bring this vision to life, we rely on people-centered design, smart application of technology, and a team of talented primary care providers who have the time and tools to make the right decisions. The integration of these elements allows us to offer a seamless experience that not only saves our patients time and money but also leads to better health outcomes and happier lives.

That’s a wrap! We're thrilled to have been a part of another great year at #HLTH! At this year’s event, we demonstrated how we are making health care easier for patients, and the care teams serving them. We proudly announced our collaboration with Cleveland Clinic, one of the nation's most renowned healthcare institutions, to expand access to high-quality primary care in Northeast Ohio. Together, we will ensure that patients receive seamless coordinated care through Amazon One Medical’s innovative care model and Cleveland Clinic’s high-quality network of specialists. Additionally, we unveiled the innovative AI tools we have implemented to help reduce the administrative workload of our care teams. Developed in collaboration with Amazon's technology teams and our primary care providers, these tools help our providers be more fully present in every patient encounter, connect more deeply with patients, and have less work piled up at the end of the day. Our CMO Andrew Diamond talked about these tools and how AI is helping bring more humanity to healthcare during a panel with Stacy Blanchard and Dr Rowland Illing. At Amazon One Medical, we're passionate about using technology to enhance human connections and bring more humanity to healthcare. We're incredibly proud of the work of our teams and excited to drive more positive change through innovative solutions and collaborations. Thanks to all who joined us. See you next year! #hlth2024 #healthcare #primarycare #healthcareinnovation

The summer Paris games may be over, but the Olympic spirit is still alive and well with our Los Angeles team. Recently, the district held their 2nd Annual Summer Olympics, where all 11 of our L.A. offices came together for a day of games and festivities. The team members enjoyed competing for prizes in games including a beach ball race, tug of war, stack cup, and a potato sack race. What a great way to celebrate the end of summer! #teamevents #teambuilding #workculture #teambased #humancentered #olympics #teamactivities #la #losangeles #primarycare

Why is clinical learning so important for primary care providers? There’s the obvious answer–it ensures clinicians are up-to-date on the latest research and recommendations. But, when executed effectively, clinical learning can also inspire us, deepen our connection to our practice, and help us gain valuable insights from our peers. At One Medical, our clinical learning team is committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences for our clinicians. We're thrilled to bring our human-centered approach to the REAL Primary Care conference this November! Hear from a few of our team members about what makes this conference different. We’re less than a month away from this exciting event, and there’s still a few spaces left. Register today! https://lnkd.in/gPdExfDt #clinicallearning #CME #primarycare #healthcareinnovation

Happy #PAWeek! The work our physician assistants/physician associates do, both in-office and virtually, is critical to our care model and delivering a great member experience. But don’t take our word for it – we asked our PAs to tell us how they are able to make an impact at One Medical, and this is what they said. 👇 Thank you, PAs, for all you do! "Many myths surround menopause, one being that it's a uniform experience. In truth, it includes a wide array of symptoms like hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood swings, brain fog, and more; and symptoms can start at different ages. Another misconception is that the transition is brief. In reality, women may experience perimenopause for seven to ten years before reaching menopause, potentially affecting their health, mood, and work performance for a decade or more." Last week, One Medical’s Laura Korin, MD, MPH, joined Danielle Reade Shanes, Danielle Dang, MD, and moderator Jessica Cording, MS, RD, CDN, INHC, to discuss what role primary care plays in menopause care, how menopause affects employees daily, and what people leaders can do to better support them through the transition. Thank you to Maven Clinic for co-hosting this important discussion with us, and thank you to everyone who attended. We hope this helped you prepare to continue this important conversation during Menopause Awareness Month! #primarycare #healthcareinnovation #menopause #menopauseawarenessmonth
