At OneSpartanburg, Inc., we work to make sure the voice of businesses across Spartanburg County are heard across the Upstate, in Columbia, and in Washington, D.C. To help gain insight into issues the business community finds important, the Upstate Chamber Coalition’s 2025 Policy Agenda Survey is out now, and the results will help build legislative priorities for the next legislative year. Yesterday, BENTELER Group announced it's investing $47.9 million into the company's manufacturing and assembly facility that has been open since 2006. As County Councilman David Britt said, advanced manufacturing is a long-time bread-and-butter in Spartanburg County, and it's always exciting to see a manufacturing business find success and grow here. https://lnkd.in/dmtJDXsZ

Even before the team plays its first game, the Hub City Spartanburgers are proving their commitment to our community. The team launched Hurricane Relief shirts in the wake of Helene, and more than 600 have been ordered leading to over $7,500 in donations to the United Way of the Piedmont, the Red Cross, and Samaritan’s Purse, strengthening the ongoing disaster relief countywide. https://lnkd.in/eBER-j94

Originally scheduled for Asheville, The Southern Conference Volleyball Championship will now be played in Spartanburg from Nov. 21-24. The SoCon is partnering with the World Central Kitchen to provide meals, and will be accepting donations to help those in need during the tournament, which will be held at Wofford College.
