#ICYMI: March was all about celebrating the heart of our organization…our incredible employees! From Employee Appreciation Day to our annual Employee Picnic, we had a blast showing our thanks with games, prizes, laughter, and lots (and lots!) of good food. This year’s Italian-themed picnic was extra special, with our leadership team proudly serving up plates to show just how much we appreciate every one of you. As we wrap up the month, we also want to give a round of applause to those who celebrated a Years of Service milestone in March—your dedication means everything! Thank you, Team Osceola, for all that you do. #OsceolaCounty #EmployeeAppreciation #YearsofService

The Osceola County Office of Sustainability and Solid Waste Management recently visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom & Fort Wilderness to meet with their Environmental Sustainability Team and explore innovative recycling efforts. During the visit, the team got an exclusive look at Disney’s award-winning glass pulverizer, which turns recycled glass into a sand-like material used on horse trails at Fort Wilderness Resort and replacing the use of coquina shells in greenhouses across WDW. Osceola County shared details about its own EPA-funded Responsible Recycling Osceola program and mobile glass pulverizer, highlighting local sustainability efforts. This collaboration provided valuable insights and strengthened our commitment to creating a more sustainable future for Osceola County! --- #OsceolaCounty #sustainability #livinggreen #environmental
