Imagine a world where healthcare is empowering, it's transformative and it's people-centered for both care teams and patients. Imagine no more. It is here and it is Ovatient. Ovatient was founded by The MetroHealth System (Cleveland, OH) and MUSC Health to unlock new opportunities in virtual care that are built around our patients. We are a catalyst for health systems in creating access to care that improves health outcomes, reduces costs, more deeply engages patients in their communities, and empowers patients in their own care. We believe everyone should have access to high-quality, affordable care, no matter where they are. Our solution is built on Epic and MyChart, and our care model is virtual-first. We are connected to the health system and clinics patients trust for their care, offering patients best-in-class virtual care that mirrors best-in-class in-person care. Hear more about our approach from Ovatient CEO Michael Dalton and our board chair Cory Robinson, PhD, MHA, PMP, FACHE. And join us at www.ovatient.com.

Ovatient offers comprehensive virtual primary and urgent care, connected to your care team.
About us
Ovatient is a virtual-first healthcare company that puts a person – not just a patient – at the center of how they receive care and improve their health. Ovatient’s team of dedicated virtual providers and care team members work closely with our health system partners to provide patients with connected, coordinated and convenient virtual care. The name Ovatient is a testament to our commitment—it’s a fusion of ‘Ovation-worthy’ and ‘Patient-centered care‘, symbolizing the celebration of patient-centered excellence we strive for in everything we do. What We Offer Ovatient offers comprehensive virtual primary and urgent care that is covered by your insurance or you can pay no more than $65. Through Ovatient, you can get care wherever you are in Ohio, including at home, at work or on the go. When you need to be seen in person, Ovatient will help connect you to an appointment. What makes Ovatient different from similar services is that your care journey is connected to our health system partners. That includes your MyChart, medical record and notes from providers. You can go from virtual to in-person appointments with confidence that your care will be tailored to your needs. Our History Ovatient was formed through a partnership between the MetroHealth System and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) in October 2022. It is led by CEO Michael Dalton and a team of dedicated virtual care professionals and business leaders. Want to know more? Contact us.

Just back from #AAFPFMX24 in Phoenix, and my mind is buzzing with insights about the many topics that family medicine specialists are navigating as we care for patients in a complex world! 🤯 Three talks that were popular among #AAFPFMX24 attendees (who can still access these using the On Demand platform): 1️⃣ "Breaking the Obesity Barrier" by Ecler Ercole Jaqua, MD, MBA, FAAFP, FACLM, DipABOM: GLP-1 receptor agonists are changing the game in weight loss. Dr. Jaqua explained how these drugs work and their potential to combat the global obesity epidemic. 💪 2️⃣ "Navigating Medicare" by Andrew Parad, MD, FAAFP, CCD: Medicare Advantage vs. Traditional Medicare - it's not just about cost! Dr. Parad shared practical tools to help patients choose based on their health and wealth. Insurance made almost simple! 📊 3️⃣ "Beyond the Surface: Exploring Vasculitis" by Brian V. Joachims, MD, FAAFP: Did you know that mysterious rash could be a sign of blood vessel inflammation? Dr. Joachims broke down complex conditions like ANCA-associated vasculitis, making them easier to spot and treat. 🔍 These topics are hot because they impact so many of us. From battling the bulge to navigating insurance, to unexplained symptoms - family physicians and APPs are on the frontlines, constantly updating their knowledge to provide the best care. Thank you to the presenters and American Academy of Family Physicians staff and leaders who worked diligently to make #AAFPFMX possible! Next time you visit your family medicine specialist, remember they're continually investigating and integrating an ever-expanding universe of information to keep you healthy! 🩺❤️ #HealthcareHeroes #ContinuingEducation #PatientCare

In honor of the closing of National Suicide Prevention Month, I’m sending a reminder to my network. Get comfortable talking about the uncomfortable…simply by asking if someone is thinking about suicide reduces their risk. 1 in 5 of our fellow Americans suffer with a mental health condition, and just under half receive any type of care. More than 40,000 people die annually from suicide. We can do better. It can start with you…having an open conversation, sitting with a loved one in distress AND learning more about the signs of suicidal behavior. Some common signs include changes in exercise, sleep, or eating habits, increased risk taking, and feelings of hopelessness. Be part of the solution by being educated and willing to support your fellow humans. Call, text or chat 988 if you or someone you love is in crisis. #SuicideAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #PreventSuicide #zerosuicide
