We were inspired last week at The Mountain Towns 2030 Climate Solutions Summit (MT2030)! Since launching in 2019, this event is the largest annual gathering of leaders and stakeholders from mountain, resort and rural communities - where we are all working together to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2030 and to accelerate climate action where we live, work and play. The 2024 Summit was hosted by Jackson, WY and featured inspirational keynotes and conversations with some of our nation’s foremost climate leaders. Breakout sessions focused on emissions-reducing solutions and community-wide climate planning and collaboration strategies specifically focused on mountain, resort and rural communities. It's great to see The Ayden, in Colorado Construction & Design® magazine! This project was envisioned as a gateway to Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood and has been transitional in breathing new life into this once industrial area, turning it into a valued TOD district with a greater focus on resident housing needs, safety and quality of life. The project successfully weaves in the unique character of the historic neighborhood with modern forms to increase density and engage access to mass transit.
