Cliff Drysdale Tennis and Peter Burwash International, the leaders in providing the ultimate racquet sports experience, are pleased to announce that 18 of our managed resort locations have been ranked amongst the top 50 in the new 2023 Tennis Resorts Online rankings! CDT and PBI managed resorts dominated the top of the rankings, featuring 6 in the top 10 (Gold Medal Resorts) and 14 in the top 25 (Silver Medal Resorts). Additionally, CDT and PBI Adult Tennis Camps were once again atop the list both internationally and domestically, featuring in two of the top five spots. We are delighted to announce the newest addition to our PBI team, Petra Russegger! With an impressive resume and career in the industry, Petra joins our team as the new Director of Tennis at Bio- und Wellnessresort Stanglwirt Born and raised in the picturesque countryside of Kitzbühel, Austria, Petra developed a passion for tennis at an early age and strived to find ways to turn her passion into a fruitful career. Early in her career, she went on to play tennis professionally, earning her a career-high ranking of #259 in the WTA, and has won numerous Austrian championship titles in youth, general class and team competitions. After her professional career, she completed all national tennis education requirements from the Austrian Tennis Federation, alongside earning an MBA in sports and event management. With an abundance of knowledge and experience, Petra served as the national coach for the Austrian Tennis Association for 8 years and currently mentors other tennis coaches, as well as top athletes in youth and women's tennis. However, her contributions extend beyond the court, as she has also written several educational articles for magazines and has been a keynote speaker at several international trainer conferences organized by the ITF and Tennis Europe. With her unwavering commitment to coaching excellence, Petra is dedicated to ensuring that every player who steps out on the court, leaves with the cherished memories of an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t imagine finding a better fit for such an esteemed location, renowned for its tennis programming and on-court experiences provided to players from across the globe. Earlier this week, Chief Operating Officer, Scott McCulloch and Katie Steck, Director of Experiences made a special appearance in Tampa, Florida to represent Peter Burwash International and Cliff Drysdale Tennis at the 2024 Professional Tennis Registry - PTR International Racquets Conference! The two each had presentations during the conference to share their knowledge and insights on the current landscape of the racquets industry. Katie shared ways in which coaches can elevate their impact to enrich the tennis experience for their players, and Scott gave a detailed outlook on the realities of navigating club and program management. It's always an honor for our team to have the opportunity to share their wealth of industry knowledge and make an impact on the transformations that are soon to come in racquet sports.
