  • 🎇 Valuing Inclusion, Belonging & Equity with Suppliers (VIBES) Program 🎇 💡 To help the PDC and its members achieve critical objectives, our VIBES Program identifies vendors who conduct business directly with customers and self-certify as being at least 51% owned or operated by: *Individuals with disabilities; *Members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (“LGBTQ”) community; or *U.S. citizens who are at least one-quarter Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic/Latinx, or Native American The VIBES program provides vendors from historically excluded and underrepresented groups with opportunities to proactively build and deepen relationships with the PDC and its membership. ℹ Our inaugural VIBES cohort will conclude in 2025 and we will soon be accepting nominations for the 2025 - 2027 cohort! Stay tuned! 📣 To learn more about our VIBES Program and participants, please visit our VIBES page! https://lnkd.in/geKCA6RQ #Diversity #SupplierDiversity #PDCLegal

  • The only thing constant in life is change, right? The legal industry is known for its dynamic environment, requiring innovation and change on many fronts - all happening at the same time. However, lawyers often have a reputation for being resistant to change. How can professional development leaders become effective change agents? 🤔 Don't miss out on the upcoming Professional Development Consortium (PDC) webinar: 🔄 Change Leadership: Leading Change Initiatives in a Legal Environment 📅 Date: Wednesday, August 7, 2024 ⏰ Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST 👉 Register HERE: https://lnkd.in/gdWYjkfG In this session, we'll start with a review of growth vs. fixed mindsets and then dive into different types of change leadership using the Change Style Inventory (CSI), developed by Christopher Musselwhite, Ph.D. 🧠 The CSI model uses a scientifically reliable psychometric assessment to determine your change style preference along a continuum ranging from "Conserver" to "Pragmatic" to "Originator." You'll learn practical ways to engage each change style preference and become more aware of your own. 🔍 What you'll discover: - How to leverage understanding of change style preferences to build stronger, more diverse teams - Support innovation initiatives and move projects forward - Adapt leadership approaches to build commitment for important projects - Three key leadership skills to enhance your effectiveness in leading change The session will be facilitated by Mark Beese, a certified CSI administrator.
