Attention network, I am looking for Not For Profit (NFP), hands on volunteer opportunities in #Chicago. Here at Salesforce, giving back is a core value of ours and is embedded in everything we do! As a part of our onboarding program we welcome hundreds of volunteers to our #Chicago office on a monthly basis. For each onboarding cohort, we host a nonprofit to join us in a hands-on volunteer activity with our new hires. It feels like yesterday since I started this health and wellness movement with Peace Runners 773, and it felt amazing to be honored by people who inspire me so much along the journey‼️ Grateful for Michael Nishi Mary Beth Johnson Carey Pinkowski Holly Petrovich Janet Myrmel Greg Hipp Alex Sawyer and the entire Chicago Event Management team for creating these spaces for continuous growth and knowledge sharing within the race industry. Meet member Dahla from our Rose Center. She enrolled in classes with Literacy Chicago last summer and has since devoted 100+ hours to improving her reading and writing skills. Her goal is to work with children, and she has volunteered in a local library and other settings to gain more experience. On weekends, she also participates in walking and running activities with Peace Runners 773, a nonprofit that advocates for health and wellness in Chicago. We’re so proud of her growth. Happy Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚 It’s a time for everyone to honor the struggles and achievements of black Americans and to recognize the work that remains to be done to ensure equality and justice for all Juneteenth Wellness 5k 2024 Saturday was truly beautiful to witness the Juneteenth 5k have over 350+ walkers and runners come together to celebrate Freedom Day with us! Watching the entire Chicago community come together from youth to our older adults was magical!
