We’re thrilled to be featured in this inspiring video highlighting the incredible work of American Institutes for Research’s global giving community! Thank you for recognizing BUILD and our fellow changemakers for the important work we do to strengthen communities. #GivingTuesday #BUILDChicago
After-school art studios. Corner stores. Community gardens. These are the places where the seeds of change are planted. 🌱 Travel from thriving gardens in the rural highlands of western Kenya to a bustling youth center on Chicago’s West Side and get to know some of the people and places that shape AIR’s global giving community. One example of AIR’s commitment to communities is our annual #GivingTuesday activity, which invites all staff to nominate and vote for charities for AIR to support during the holiday season. This year, we focused on the theme of climate resilience, from preparing communities to respond to natural disasters, to making environmental education more accessible and inclusive. Congratulations to organizations selected to receive funding: BOUNTIFUL CITIES PROJECT Equipo Tortuga Girl Plus Environment Lafayette Tool Library Bethlehem University Foundation Thank you to AIR’s Partnerships for Progress for your contributions to the video: BUILD Chicago, Development in Gardening (DIG), Ayuda, as well as SHOFCO and BeLoved Asheville for sharing images. #TheAIRStory #AIRinAction https://bit.ly/3CW2Rq5
