Last Friday, our Fulton St location celebrated the upcoming retirement of Bruce, the site HR Manager who has been with Peco for 26 years. Congratulations, Bruce, and thank you for your years of service. We wish you the best in retirement and the many hunting and fishing trips we're sure you have planned! #retirement #peoplepromise

Please join us in congratulating the Tate family as Keri's son Eli was recently selected to be a scholarship recipient from the John Herman Hickman Foundation! Named after our founder, the mission of the John Herman Hickman Foundation is to provide scholarships primarily to the children of Peco team members and producers, to actively serve victims of catastrophic natural disasters in and around our geographic region, and to donate to local charities that have a positive impact and strengthen the communities surrounding Peco operations.

Our intern Claire, rising senior at The Ohio State University, got us in the school spirit on her last day at our Feather Lane facility! Claire, thank you for choosing to spend your summer with us. We wish you all the best in the coming school year and look forward to staying in touch!

Our processing plant in Bay Springs recently rewarded employees with 25 years of employment and up. Each team member was served a steak dinner and received a plaque and Peco collared shirt. We would like to thank all of the team members for their hard work and dedication to Peco Foods!

Our Summer Internship Program is in full swing here at PECO FOODS INC! Through this program, our interns gain hands-on experience in a poultry processing complex, broadening their understanding of poultry production and the skills and competencies that will lead to long-term career success. The Peco Foods Batesville, AR site was awarded Best Booth at this year's Business Expo hosted by the Chamber of Commerce! Here is what the Chamber said about our booth, "Peco Foods was crowned the Best Booth, and for good reason. Their Green-Army-Men-themed booth was a standout, offering visitors a chance to test their aim with Nerf-target practice, win fantastic prizes, and sample their products. This unique concept and engaging setup truly set them apart, demonstrating their creativity and innovation." Congrats to the winners and thank you for representing our company so well!

Last week, our Fulton St location held a luncheon in celebration of employees who had been working at the site for 25+ years. We honored 39 employees totaling 1,265 years with the company! Thank you for your tremendous career and dedication to Peco Foods!
