As part of the $2.5 billion Federal budget to improve health care services across the United States, Pegasus Park in Dallas, Texas will anchor one of three new "hubs" of the independent agency called ARPA-H. Austin, Houston and San Antonio will play supporting roles for the Texas hub. The selection of Texas is the result of a two-year state-wide collaboration that included biotechnology ventures, hospital systems, research institutions and economic development organizations.
