Yesterday at #ITSDubai2024, the PoDIUM Project took the stage during a special session ‘#PDI and communication developments as #CCAM enablers,’ organised by our coordinator I-SENSEGroup/ICCS and moderated by ERTICO - ITS Europe. 🔎 The session offered valuable insights into the future of connected automated mobility, focusing on the infrastructure-assisted opportunities and challenges. Panagiotis Lytrivis presented on "Multi-connectivity and communications as an enabler of advanced CCAM Services" and highlighted the #PoDIUM_EU project and its innovative architecture. He stressed that addressing communication challenges through #PDI enhancements & a #multiconnectivity approach is key for successfully deploying CCAM. PoDIUM Project was recently showcased at the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Multisensor Fusion and Integration (#MFI2024) by our partner, Ulm University. Charlotte Hermann presented a paper titled "An Efficient Implementation of the Fast Product Multi-Sensor Labeled Multi-Bernoulli Filter," co-authored by Alexander Scheible, Michael Buchholz, and Klaus Dietmayer. This work introduces new methods for more efficient multi-object tracking using multiple #sensors - a key challenge in advancing sensor #fusion technologies. Yesterday (05/09) Christos Ballis from our coordinator I-SENSEGroup/ICCS was at the 7th Conference On Sustainable Mobility (#CSUM2024) at Plastira’s Lake, Karditsa, Greece to represent the PoDIUM Project during the Technical Session 3.1 on New Mobility Services in the Digital Era. The paper presentation focused on an overview of the latest #PDI enhancements implemented by #PoDIUM_EU, analysing the resulting #CCAM ecosystem and identifying all the involved actors and roles, their relationships, and revenue streams.
