The Port is a public, mission-driven development finance agency focused on revitalizing Hamilton County, OH, neighborhoods and legacy urban industrial sites. A port authority under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4582, our diverse suite of programs and initiatives are structured to make significant impact to improve our region in ways that reduce poverty, improve land value and create well-paying jobs. The foundation of our work is putting real estate back to work for everyone in Hamilton County. The Port collaborates with dozens of economic development, community and corporate partners, and is governed by a board of directors appointed in equal number by the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. This past weekend, we joined Rosemary's Babies Company for the Grand Opening of the organization's Holloway House and Resource Center! 🎉🏡 The Landbank, a managed entity of The Port, previously stabilized this historic structure in partnership with the City of Cincinnati. Designed by Samuel Hannaford in the late 1890's, the home has been beautifully restored to provide resources for teen parents, including housing and support services, workforce training, financial coaching, health and wellness resources, and so much more. 🌟 Congratulations to Rosemary's Babies and all of the partners who helped make this project possible! 🌟 #CommunitySupport #HistoricRestoration #RosemarysBabies #HollowayHouse #Cincinnati #GivingBack #ResourceCenter

🏡✨ Welcome Emilio R. Voltaire to The Port! ✨🏡 We’re excited to have Emilio join us as our Real Estate Development Manager! With a strong background in urban planning, real estate development, and building inspections, he plays a key role in managing real estate projects, ensuring compliance, and fostering community partnerships. Previously, Emilio worked for the City of Cincinnati in the Building & Inspections Dept, as an inspector who served across many of Cincinnati’s 52 neighborhoods. He also served as the building department’s liaison to all city departments and for the public, helping to address complex challenges related to vacant and blighted properties. He’s contributed to major construction projects and is passionate about workforce development and mentorship. We’re thrilled to have him on board—join us in welcoming Emilio to the team! 👏💙🏗️
