Premier Health recently staffed the Infield Care Center at Eldora Speedway, along with two companion medical towers in the outfield, which have been enhanced by the addition of Telehealth technology. Through a dedicated, secure network and Wi-Fi-enabled tablets, clinical teams at all three medical stations can communicate seamlessly using image sharing and live feeds. This advanced triage process, supported by a remote physician, enables the team to provide care in the most convenient location, helping spectators return to the stands quickly. For situations requiring further attention, patients can be transported to the Infield Care Center for in-person treatment by a physician. #TelehealthAwarenessWeek

Life can change in an instant, as Dayton Police Officer Byron Branch knows all too well. In 2016, he was struck by a car while helping a stalled semi, leading to the amputation of his leg. But Byron’s journey didn’t end there—it was just the beginning. Under the care of Dr. Akpofure Ekeh, a trauma surgeon at Wright State Physicians, Byron returned to the police force, became a para-fencing champion, and is now set for the 2024 Paris Paralympics. His story is a powerful testament to resilience and determination. For more of his story: https://buff.ly/4fXjz7d
