USC Ross Program in Real Estate (previously known as the Ross Minority Program) was established following the 1992 LA Riots to empower local community members with real estate development skills to help redevelop their underserved communities. We have made a lot of progress since '92, when I was a senior in high school, but real estate investments in South LA and surrounding communities are still lacking through mainstream channels today. We need more real estate developers like Arturo Sneider and Martin Muoto, and professionals like Alfred Fraijo Jr., who have dedicated their careers to helping underserved communities.
