Priority Health joined more than 470 health care leaders, legislators and innovators this week at the annual #MAHP24 conference. This event sparked conversations about ways to improve health care and health outcomes for our members and all Michigan residents. Value-based care can transform the way we view the care delivery space by focusing on quality outcomes over quantity of services. ⛳ Priority Health tee-ed off another exciting event this week in Detroit with the AREA 313 Celebrity Scramble. Thank you to the community members and participants who came together for a successful day at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. It was especially exciting to have last year's RMC champion, Rickie Fowler and the Detroit Lions very own Aidan Hutchinson on our team! This year, the Priority Health Total Health Foundation had the pleasure of donating $150,000 to the Rocket Giving Fund and Connect 313. These dollars will have a lasting impact as they bridge the digital divide in Detroit which impacts the health and well-being of residents through lack of internet access.

It was another successful year for Michigan's signature cycling event, Gran Fondo. Priority Health had the honor of being the official pace car, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event for our team. We cheered on our 30 cyclists as they joined 1,600 other riders in West Michigan. Collectively, the event raised an impressive $73,000 for Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.

We are excited to announce plans for Priority Health to expand into Indiana and Ohio through the acquisition of Physicians Health Plan of Northern Indiana (PHP) by the end of 2024. Join Priority Health as we commemorate Juneteenth, also called Freedom Day or Emancipation Day. On June 19, 1865, a full two and half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, Union soldiers brought freedom to the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas. Juneteenth celebrates liberation, resilience, and the ongoing fight for equality. It not only honors the past, but highlights the ongoing struggle for racial and economic justice. It is a crucial day for education, reflection and unity.
