We love a little friendly competition but with a twist. This activity challenged our students (and their Success Coaches) to focus on strategic thinking to accomplish a goal while working as a team. 🏐 

40 students representing 20 of Chicago’s neighborhoods are represented within Cohort 5! When we say we believe in a #Chicago community where Black and Brown boys can access the tools, resources, and supportive adults to self-determine their futures, we mean all across the city. This past weekend, Cohort 5 explored their strengths using 'Real Colors' as a tool to identify their unique qualities, how they present themselves, and how they engage with others. They then used these insights as a foundation for discussing their identities. Building on last month’s workshop on core values, students outlined the key elements that shape who they are. Our goal was to equip them with tools to help them confidently express who they are and what they need to show up as their best selves at both school and home, and to articulate their strengths. #ProjectOneTen #Identities #FreshmanYear #PersonalDevelopment
