What does the top-secret The University of Texas at El Paso Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center look like? We can’t show much but here is a brief look with Construction Inspector Rafael Balli. The $80 million, 98,000-square-foot facility is designed to advance research and education in aerospace and manufacturing. This state-of-the-art center will house UTEP’s W.M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation and Aerospace Center, providing cutting-edge spaces for research and training of over 600 students annually. With its innovative design and strategic industry partnerships, the center aims to drive regional economic growth and technological advancements in aerospace and manufacturing. Strategic industry partnerships include the United States Space Force, Lockheed Martin, Blue Origin, and other local and national government entities. UTEP also conducts significant research work with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and other agencies.
