Wow! What an incredible experience at the J.P. Morgan VetVC Summit in NYC! I was honored to participate for the second year and join my fellow Veteran Fund partners, Mike Sherbakov and Jen Pilcher, as we connected with veteran VCs and founders from around the globe. 🌍 Highlights included a Fireside Chat with Jamie Dimon and Moonshots Capital GP, Kelly Perdew. Kelly Perdew and I have partnered very closely with JPMorganChase over the last 3+ years in supporting the military veteran entrepreneur and venture capital community. In recognition of our strong partnership, JPMC selected us to fireside J.P. Morgan Chase Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon last week during the VetVC Summit at the JPMC New York HQs. The event exceeded our wildest expectations. Kelly did a fantastic job in firesiding Jamie, clearly one of the best performing business leaders of our time. Their conversation called out the importance of military veteran investors and entrepreneurs in the dual-use ecosystem and the broader economy. Jamie expressed genuine support and admiration for our community (as evidenced by “the salute” photo!), and he left us inspired and motivated. In addition to JPMC, we partnered with our good friends at VetsinTech—Katherine Webster, Ikram Mansori, and Oliver Muoto—to host a dinner celebrating this awesome community.
