Queer Town x City of Melbourne: our partnership grows! 🌱 Did you know Queer Town now delivers educational workshops on Child Safety and Rainbow Families? 🌈 From councils to maternal child health nurses to public facilities: these are my new favourite workshops to run. Together we explore the complex and nuanced needs of rainbow families and young people navigating a society that has not accounted for them, through story-telling, group discussion, breakout activities and info sharing. Everything from terminology to statistics to practical allyship strategies Today we focused on creating safety in public spaces: from public pools to community theatre.
