Along with recycling most chemicals, these advances are expected to yield higher recovery efficiencies, minimize costs, reduce process maintenance & labor requirements, remove radionuclides below regulatory limits, and be environmentally sustainable. Demo Plant Construction Update (7/25/24) Equipment Skid Testing and Integration Underway The majority of the facility work has been completed, and the focus has now shifted to the pre-assembled skid installation, integration, and testing. Tom Cannon Named Demonstration Plant Operations Manager Rare Element Resources welcomed Tom as its plant operations manager in April. Since joining the team, Tom is already deeply emersed in the construction activities at the site in Upton, WY, as well as developing the operating procedures and manpower specs for ongoing operations. Tom has over 40 years of hands-on experience in mining and mineral processing, mostly within the uranium industry and including new ventures. His project management skills have contributed to process improvements, operating efficiencies and supported timely startups. We believe he is the perfect leader for the operations team as we work to bring our rare earth processing and separation demonstration plant into production over the next several months.
