“Each marathon has taught me a different lesson about myself. I am so grateful I just said yes to the first one, and let my feet carry me the rest of the way. “ At Release, we're incredibly proud to have such talented individuals on our team! To honor their expertise, we’re excited to feature their insights in our new blog articles. Stay tuned as we showcase their experiences and knowledge each week. Check out this week's post by Stephen D'Antonio and dive into his parallel journey with running and recovery. https://lnkd.in/eY3qj4Je

Our CEO and Founder Zac Clark has the opportunity to speak on a panel at SXSW and we need YOUR help! Please vote here to send him and the NARCAN® Nasal Spray team to South By Southwest. Voting closes August 18th. https://lnkd.in/gG3tvkmT
We need your help! I am grateful to be on a panel that is being considered to be included at South By Southwest (SXSW) as a part of my NARCAN® Nasal Spray brand partnership. It is a huge win that they are considering this topic, “Ready to Rescue: Stemming the Tide of the Opioid Epidemic,” but we need to do more. Opioid overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in the U.S. Please follow this link to vote. Voting Ends on August 18th. https://lnkd.in/e2hqFvDQ Share this post and help us make this dream become a reality. #narcanpartner

Today marks our tenth women’s luncheon led by Nicole Giambrone, MA, LMHC, NCC, CASAC from the Rainier Center for Mental Health and Wellness who discussed reproductive hormones and their impact on mental health. Her introduction topic surrounding women’s mental health led to a fruitful conversation filled with vulnerability and honesty. We are always grateful to our executive chef Nichole Daniello for providing a fabulous lunch and Dawn Marie Gallagher for her warm hospitality and kindness. If you wish to attend our next luncheon, please email Scott Apgar at scott@releaserecovery.com.

Our Employee of the Month, Dawn Marie Gallagher was featured on The Zac Clark Show this week. We are so inspired by Dawn's bravery and transparency in telling her story in such a public way. We are proud to have her on our team. Go listen.
This week on The Zac Clark Show, I spoke with Dawn Marie Gallagher, a dedicated Recovery Associate at Release Recovery. Before Release, Dawn was the former CEO of "The Townhouse on Sixth", a sober house for men (and eventually women) that was one of the first of its kind in New York City. Dawn is now a certified recovery coach and sober companion who transitioned from an 18-year career in international hotel management to focus on her own sobriety. Prior to getting sober, Dawn was an Irish Sicilian Catholic girl born in Brooklyn, who started bartending on Atlantic Avenue at age 19. By the time she was 20, she knew she was an alcoholic. In this episode, Dawn shares her personal story of recovery, including her stories of crazy all-nighters and her once fast-paced lifestyle while in active addiction. Her incredible journey led her to a fulfilling career in the behavioral healthcare field. Now she helps clients navigate early recovery, offering guidance and support with a heart full of love and compassion.
