Our teams in Türkiye are deeply committed to supporting individuals with mobility and sensory challenges. This year, with the support of @StatePRM, we have provided over 400 individuals in Istanbul, Adana, and Mersin with vital mobility and sensory aids, including glasses and hearing devices. By improving access to these essential resources, we are breaking down barriers and fostering greater social participation. Here's to creating a more inclusive, understanding world 🙌

Many of the children we support in Pakistan have been displaced by years of conflict in Afghanistan and have sought refuge in Pakistan. As refugees, they face numerous barriers to education, including limited access to schools, lack of resources, and financial hardship, making school enrollment and attendance difficult. We have been working alongside Afghan communities in Pakistan since 2019. Through our programs, over 20,000 girls have been enrolled in educational programs, providing them with the opportunity to overcome these obstacles and equipping them with the tools to shape their futures. Our mission is simple: to ensure that girls have access to safe, equitable, quality education and the support they need to stay in school—and continue thriving beyond the classroom. This International Day of the Girl, let’s recognize the resilience of these girls and celebrate the lasting power of education for all. #DayOfTheGirl #GirlsEducation #InternationalDayOfTheGirl

Without addressing the mental and emotional well-being of communities, true recovery and resilience are not possible." — Ayesha, Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support (MHPSS) Assistant with Relief International in Pakistan. 🙌 To date, we’ve delivered psycho-social support sessions to over 12,000 people in Pakistan, helping families overcome the mental and emotional challenges they face. On #WorldMentalHealthDay, and every day, we are committed to delivering holistic, life-changing support. By incorporating mental health support into our programs, we are helping communities build healthier, more fulfilling futures.

After two weeks of productive stakeholder meetings in Kabul, Relief International held the kick-off of our Local Medical Supplier Development Project with a successful Inception Workshop, with funding from Takeda and in partnership with #Quamed.   With over 50 delegates in attendance, including representatives from the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), the Afghan Food and Drug Authority (AFDA), UN agencies, donors, NGOs, and local suppliers, we had a dynamic discussion on strengthening access to quality medical products across the country.   We presented key findings setting a strong foundation for achieving our shared goal: improving healthcare access and ensuring sustainable localized medical products supply chains.   Together, we’re making a real impact!    #TakedaGlobalCSR

❤️🩹 “The ongoing violence is causing harm to a lot of innocent people, of course including children. We as Lebanese people have endured so much throughout our history. Whilst our cities may bear scars and our hearts feel heavy, our spirit remains unbreakable.”– Youssef Jomaa, Program Manager with Relief International. Since the escalation of the Middle East crisis in #Lebanon on 23 September, more than 1,000 people have tragically been killed, over 3,000 injured, and 600,000 displaced. Many are living in overcrowded shelters, unsure of when they can return home. Youssef and his team are tirelessly supporting displaced families: “For every displaced family, for every child seeking comfort... we will not give up.” Read his full account and support efforts like Youssef’s by donating today. 💬 “The humanitarian crisis in Lebanon is worsening with every day that passes” – Giacomo Lapo Baldini, #Lebanon Country Director at Relief International. The scale of trauma is increasing dramatically. Almost 350,000 people have now been displaced and more than 1,000 killed. Communities continue to flee; however, with several attacks continuing across the country, including #Beirut, the number of safe locations is decreasing. Relief International is providing critical support, but overcrowded shelters, shortages of supplies, and increasing psychological stress are pushing communities to the brink. 🚨 Urgent action is needed for funding and safe humanitarian access, as well as an immediate, permanent ceasefire.
